What is Copyright and Fair Use? 

"Copyright" refers to the creative and/or intellectual property of individuals and groups that is protected by government law. Copyrighted materials may only be used with permission from the creator or owner. 

"Fair Use" refers to the creative and/or intellectual property of others that may be used by outside parties under special circumstances without permission from the creator or owner.
